Gary Bowersox, The Gem Hunter, is a gemologist and renowned expert on Afghanistan. He has spent 46 years exploring Afghanistan and Central Asia's gems and minerals and is the author of two books, Gemstones of Afghanistan and The Gem Hunter-True Adventures of an American in Afghanistan. He has also served as a consultant to the Department of Defense and the government of Afghanistan.
Gary is known for having the largest traveling gem collection, which includes stunning rubies and emeralds, gem mineral specimen and one-of-a-kind carved gemstones.
