Bittersweet News Featured

We have bittersweet news to share. Our Harbor Springs store location has been sold. The neighboring store, Harbor Ice Cream, will be expanding into our former location.

We wish the owners, Rocky and Cynthia Beydoun, sweet times ahead, sprinkled with the charming flavors of a Harbor Springs summer, with more successful seasons to follow.

Our loyal customers make it hard to leave this dear shop on Main Street, but we couldn’t be happier to see the location enhance this growing business.

Planning a visit? Here’s what you need to know! Featured

Masks are worn by staff and required for customers.

Need a mask? We have them available for your visit!

Forget your hand sanitizer?

We have it available as you enter our stores and throughout the sales floor as you shop.

Interested in examining a design or trying it on?

We sanitize pieces between customers. Shared surfaces are cleaned periodically throughout the day, and before a store opens, it receives a thorough cleaning.

Prefer to shop over the phone and pick-up curbside?

Great! We are still doing that! Call ahead and “pre-shop” with one of our sales associates. We can give you detailed descriptions of pieces and even send you pictures before you arrive.

Wondering if anything has changed?

Protocols and state regulations are changing regularly. Call us! We are happy to share the protocols for our region.

Our Warmest Thanks Featured

From November 27, 2020 to February 14, 2021, we asked customers to support the Leelanau Conservancy with purchases from our Forest Floor Impressions Collection. Due to their generosity, we have donated just over $7,000 to this worthy nonprofit that has provided opportunities for escape and renewal in a difficult year through its protected trails, streams and lake frontage.

Check out some ways to explore the nature that’s in our own backyard at leelanauconservancy.org/explore/. An outdoor adventure awaits you!

Acorn Bread and the Oak Leaf Ring Featured

Meet Lisa. Connoisseur of acorns and acorn bread. One day while scanning our Facebook page, Lisa become acquainted with  our new Forest Floor Impressions collection. As one who embraces nature like Becky, the collection had special meaning for Lisa.

“The acorn has a special place in my home. My family gathers them in our yard, on walks, and friends drop them off by the bag full. We shell acorns while watching football on Sunday or outside together in the park….It is a nut that not only nourishes our bodies but also nourishes relationships and connectedness to the community around us.” Michigan Blue, Oct. 2018

Now, a proud owner of her own Forest Floor oak leaf ring, Lisa has a ready reminder of that which is important to her. “The spirit of our communities live in this ring- creative, resilient, regenerative, and strong.  The oak tree reminds us nature provides everything we need to move through 2020 and beyond.  I’m so glad for Becky and her role in the world- she brings us beauty and hope.”

To learn more about how to harvest your own acorns for acorn bread, check out Lisa’s recipe in Michigan Blue.
