The Traverse Traveler is having a scavenger hunt to raise money to buy iPads for the Autism program at TCAPS and to raise awareness about autism. Teams of players will be navigating around downtown Traverse City, completing tasks and collecting prize tickets along the way. Bracelet Base Sizing

Our bases come in a range of sizes in several styles. Our sizes are stamped on the inside of the base, they do not represent inches, it is our own sizing system, a dot next to the number means that it is a half size: example 3. means it is a size 3 1/2.
Measure your wrist where you would like the bracelet to fit, if you like a looser fit add a half inch, a tighter fit subtract a 1/2″. We find that our size 3 1/2 is our most popular size. Use the chart below to find your base size:

Richard earned his MFA from Ohio State University. His work has appeared in exhibitions from Northport to Chicago. He maintains multiple independent projects and has served as a visiting artist at the University of Minnesota, Mankato and Kendall College of Art and Design.

He also keeps and curates a blog: LateBreakingThisJustIn .

Melanie attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, IL and has since been a resident in such places as Isle Royale and Yosemite National Park. She has had work featured in group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States.
Melanie remains active in multiple independent projects such as After Rain Daddy Book Collaboration with Paul Breschuk and in 2012, the Curation of Jonathan Hartshorn’s Care Package Project in Chicago, Michigan, Indiana and Michigan.

In her own words, Melanie describes her paintings as “provoked by romantic notions of idyllic natural environments that sometimes scuffle with urban anxieties. Then the paintings are taken to abstraction, memory, and non objective imagery.”

Gretchen R. Hoenecke – Currently Showing

Gretchen is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Architecture and Design. She has taught elementary art in Ann Arbor, MI. and is a frequent exhibitor in a variety of juried art shows in the Chicago area. Her work is in many private collections throughout the United States.

Most recently she has been doing abstract monoprints and collagraphs with bright colors and simple shapes-showing the joy of shape, textures and color relating to each other. She is in a stage of discovery, which comes through in her work.
