Chrysoprase Ring
The quartz division of the stone family, with all its divisions and ramifications, is so large as to appall one. Chrysophrase falls under the heading of compact quartz, and is its “star”! Translucent but not transparent, it is 7 in hardness. While some Chrysoprase looks very similar to fine jade, I particularly like those that have a slight hint of blue in the green.
