For all of our friends out there that don't get the Gold Prospectors Magazine there is a very interesting article in the Sept/Oct issue that talks about the Oregon Sunstone and the open pit mining process. It is a fun read and very educational, plus, as an added bonus one of our sunstone necklaces and a  sunstone/petrified pine cone pendant are pictured in the article.
