Meet with artists Melanie Parke and Richard Kooyman and see their gorgeous paintings. There will be 11 other art galleries open for your enjoyment as well, which should make for an exciting and entertaining evening. Hope to see you there. We are located at 301 S. Main Street.

This weeks' topic was Sunstones and other yellow and orange gemstones. David had a variety of different gemstones to show and compare: mandarin garnets, Oregon sunstones, padparadscha sapphires and imperial topaz…  Cookie and Diane delighted  us with delicious treats from the kitchen.

We had a great gathering of old and new friends join us for our discussion on Designer Quartz and other related gemstones. David enlighten us on how these beautiful stones are carved and the lapidary artists' that create them and the beautiful jewelry that they are set in.  Cookie, Kim and Ruthie out did themselves again in the kitchen, the food was scrumptious.

Our next Tea day is July 8th (no tea on July 1st) and we will be discussing sunstones, padparadscha sapphire and other exotic yellow and orange gemstones. Hope to see there.

The topic for discussion is "Designer Quartz", come learn all about these beautiful quartz stones, the lapidary artists' that carve them and the creative ways that Becky sets them into jewelry.
Cookie is in the kitchen polishing the silver and making marmalade jam. David is busy researching the stones. Ruthie will making the scones fresh on Tuesday morning, yum, can't wait! The tea will be hot and delicious.  If you have never been to one of our Tea's you will be delightfully surprised at how fun it is to learn about different gemstones each week. If you have been here before-welcome back, we are looking forward to seeing you again!
